TECCHIA INTERNATIONAL is a contemporary streetwear label built on the gritty history of the Carrara marble quarries in Italy. We take classical heritage, raw stone, manual labor, and archival art, and collide it with heavy, modern utilitarian design.

The History

The name TECCHIA INTERNATIONAL is directly rooted in the grueling history of the Carrara marble quarries in the Italian Apuan Alps. It takes its title from the tecchiaiòli - the fearless, specialised workers who scaled sheer mountain faces to clear away fractured rock and debris before massive blocks of marble could be safely extracted. Their daily reality was defined by heavy ropes, absolute precision, and high-stakes survival. The name honours that raw industrial heritage, serving as a permanent tribute to the brutal manual labor and heavy machinery required to pull the world's most pristine stone from the earth.
